Sponsor an Intern
We are always looking for new internship opportunities for the women of SafeHouse
The SafeHouse Internship Program was established in 2009 with the generous support of the Lantern League, a circle of women donors who provided a seed grant. This program aims to empower women by equipping them with the necessary practical skills to thrive in today's competitive job market. It offers an opportunity for women who may have limited work experience to gain employability and build their economic security and self-sufficiency.
The Internship Program follows a simple and easy format: SafeHouse provides the wages while the Sponsor provides the job! Upon completion of the internship, women may be offered a permanent position or possess the necessary skills to secure alternative employment.
The Internship Program has been one of our major successes, with a significant impact on participants. If you are interested in learning more about the program or have an Internship to offer, please reach out to us by e-mailing us at info@sfsafehouse.org!
SafeHouse women have worked in a variety of internships, and we always make sure that their skills and interests align with your needs.
