End Human Trafficking Day
On July 30th, the world recognizes human trafficking as a horrendous crime that exploits women, children, and men in their countries and abroad. In 2013, the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons to bring awareness about the situation of victims of human trafficking and their rights. The goal is to prevent abuse, exploitation, and eliminate all forms of violence and forced labor.
We recognize those that are tireless in their efforts to support survivors of human trafficking. At Safehouse, we acknowledge the continued work of survivor leaders that provide services and advocacy, first responders, our staff on the front lines, and the work of our community partners.
